Game of Hex

Invented in 1942

Hex is a boardgame for 2 players.  The board almost resembles honeycomb and consists of hexagons. The board can have many different kind of shapes and number of hexagons. Traditionally the board is shaped as a rhombus with 11 x11 hexagons. The rules are simple: make one continuous line from one side of the board to the other. Althoug the rules are simple, there is a lot of strategy involved.
